Feminine consciousness is a way of being/perceiving/experiencing that exists in each of us, regardless of our biological gender. It’s the form of consciousness we are born into but which we grow estranged from as we assimilate ourselves into contemporary western culture.

Rather than conceiving of ourselves as separate beings locked in an ongoing struggle against the larger forces of Life, feminine consciousness maintains an awareness of the greater whole that created and encompasses us, allowing us to return to a relationship with Life and our being that is predicated not on fear, control, and separation—but on trust, openness, and interconnection.

Feminine consciousness is the consciousness we awaken to when we begin to live from within our bodies again, in tune with our deepest desires and needs, instead of from solely within our conceptual minds and acquired knowledge and beliefs.

Cultivating the feminine half of our consciousness can allow us to lead richer, fuller, and less fear-filled lives, freeing us to become the agents for change our world desperately needs.

“As a woman just beginning the process of becoming a mother, Motherhood: A Metaphysics has completely transformed my journey. Because of the tools I gained from Liz’s course, I’m now approaching my path through conception, pregnancy, birth, and Motherhood with a sense of deep trust, curiosity, and connection.”

— Emily P.

“I took Motherhood: A Metaphysics during the first trimester of my pregnancy. It’s difficult to put my experience into words, but I felt transformed after each class and the subsequent discussion. Lightbulbs went off left and right, and I came out on the other end feeling empowered and as if I’d gone through a metamorphosis of sorts. What a wonderful experience that I will be forever grateful for.”

— Allie M.

“This course was more life changing and thought provoking than I ever could have imagined. It really peeled back the layers of conditioning that come with living in a patriarchal society. Liz’s guidance, knowledge and attentiveness to our group created such a safe space to do deep work.”

—Waterfall P.
